oh, hi! i’m jen!

I am a Graphic Designer who specializes in brand design! Im located in the Calgary area of Alberta! I design playful and fun brands! I bring creativity, colour and personality to every project!

Design with Jen was born out of a love for creativity and a passion for helping small businesses shine! I don’t just design brands—I bring stories to life with colour, personality, and a touch of magic. Whether it’s crafting a bold logo or building a brand that feels so you, I’m here to make your vision pop. Creativity runs wild, authenticity is key, and every brand gets its own unique spark!

It all started with some pencils and crayons. From crayons lead me to world of digital art.  Since I was 11 years old I knew I wanted to be working in the field of art and design. I spent every day drawing in my notebooks,  on my homework, random papers around my house and eventually turning to the world of digital art by using programs like good old MS Paint.  I would trace over my own scanned drawings with a mouse and make digital art…mind you those drawings were…creative (we all start somewhere…).

My back story

In 2022 I took a big leap and went to school for graphic design, I was nervous but it felt right. When I graduated in late 2023, I was nervous again. I wasn’t sure where to go, what genre of design I wanted to go into until I found myself watching plenty of designers creating “design a brand with me!” on Instagran, and Youtube. That’s where I fell into brand design!

I had played around with creating concept brands during college but never dived into it. I soon began to create passion projects for my portfolio, and I knew this was something I loved. I loved seeing an idea turn into a concept brand. 

 I found myself venturing into different mediums of art and design, whether it was drawing on my iPad, painting, or designing a poster for my room.  Art and design has always fascinated me, and has always been there for me when I need to spill out my thoughts, and share a story.

Seeing a client’s vision board turn into reality is what drives me as a designer. Seeing my client’s face light up when they watch the brand they have worked so hard for come to life makes me so excited! I couldn’t ask fot a better career choice! I love to add personality, colour, fun and passion to all my designs!

Maybe it’s a bit of a cliché but graphic design IS my passion.

  • When it comes to pricing, I like to take into account the individual needs of each project. This means considering factors like time, research, and collaboration. Once I have a good understanding of what you’re looking for, I’ll be happy to provide a quote. Let me know if you have any questions!

  • I require a deposit before starting any project, but don’t worry, we can work out a payment plan that fits your budget either through installments or one final payment. To ensure everything runs smoothly, the full payment must be provided before the final due date of the project. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

    I take payments through E-transfer or Paypal. If those options are not available, don't hesitate to get in touch with me!

  • I aim to reply to emails or direct messages within 2 business days, but it might take longer due to unexpected circumstances.

    I never take more than 4 business days to respond. You can contact me multiple times if you have any questions or need answers.

  • I am located in the Calgary area!

  • Each project takes a different amount of time. I can finish projects anywhere from 1 day to multiple weeks! It all depends on the project! I always make sure all projects are ready for the due date!
